May Visa Bulletin is now available.
Below are some key highlights for individuals seeking adjustment of status in the US:
Overall, there is a continued forward movement in visa category cutoff dates.
All EB1 categories are CURRENT.
EB2 China moved forward by 3 months from 09/01/2016 to 12/01/2016. EB2 India moved forward by 3 months from 05/01/2010 to 08/01/2010. All other countries remain CURRENT.
EB3 China moved forward by 2 months from 03/15/2018 to 05/15/2018. EB3 India moved forward by 5 months from 09/01/2010 to 02/01/2011. All other countries remain CURRENT.
F2A (Spouse & Children of LPR) remains CURRENT.
In his May Visa bulletin Youtube Live, Mr. Charlie Oppenheim (from DOS Consular Affairs Unit) stated, "At this time, for family and employment based categories, the Hong Kong remains treated as an independent country as they have been..." (See below May Visa Bulletin Youtube Live link at 17:47)
